High definition surveillance cameras, get a better picture.

The goal of video surveillance is to get you a clear image with every single frame. We have a variety of high definition cameras available, that we can match with your application. There are different form-factors of cameras, such as bullet, dome and Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) cameras. Furthermore all cameras come with a certain feature set, which allows them to perform well under certain applications, but might limit them in some situations. Matching the camera with the correct location and the situation with the correct camera is key. Too often are cameras just installed without giving it too much thought. We have experienced technicians available that will design your surveillance camera environment to be the best possible solution for you.

So what are your options?

Biometric access control eliminates the possible risk for intruders due to lost keys or access cards.

HD Bullet Cameras

Bullet cameras are great cameras for outdoor applications that require a focus area. Entrance ways, glass fronts and many more areas can benefit from these types of cameras. Higher end bullet cameras come with the capability to zoom into the scene, to get a better overview. Thermal cameras are usually in a bullet style housing as well. Bullet cameras are very obvious cameras when they are installed, so they are a great deterrent, however are usually not recommended when trying to have a covert surveillance environment.

See who enters and exits your premises, beyond just names. With our access control video solutions you are able to visually verify every persons identity.

HD Dome Cameras

Dome Cameras are a widely used type of camera because of their unobtrusive design. Many applications can benefit from dome cameras, as these cameras are able to cover wide areas, or have a focus area to get the necessary details. Dome cameras come in a variety of sizes, so it is possible to have very small cameras. The more advanced models are usually larger, as the cameras’ “brains” are extremely advanced and need space to exist. Bullet cameras do come in a variety of resolutions and form factors to fit into almost any environment.

High Security areas need the proper equipment and expertise. We can help with your project.

HD PTZ Cameras

PTZ Cameras are the best of all worlds for most applications. PTZ cameras allow the user to pan across the area it is installed in 360 degrees, endlessly. Furthermore these cameras also allow the user to zoom into the scene to get a view of any details that may be required, such as license plates or faces. These cameras can also be set up to automatically guard an area and check in on certain areas on site. This will automatically run on the camera, so you can make sure your sites vulnerable points are all protected.

More on cameras

Surveillance cameras are a very different camera than you might think. The GoPro’s or SLR Cameras that are used for photography and film making are a completely different beast from surveillance cameras. With surveillance you get many factors that play into the design of a camera. For example a surveillance camera in Alberta will have to withstand a winter with lows of -40 degrees, while the summers can get as hot as 40 degrees. Being in the prairies Alberta also gets wind and as a result of that dust, which can damage electronics very badly. Add some rain to that and you have the perfect reason as to why surveillance cameras need a very sturdy, weatherproof housing. From there on modern IP cameras use the same protocols and data transfers that your computer would if it was wired into the router. Creating a surveillance solution requires many calculations and attention to detail to make sure the solution will work for the required purpose and is able to retain video for as long as is required.
