Bullet cameras are a more obvious type of camera than dome cameras. These cameras feature the entire camera mechanics mounted along the same axis as the lens. As such they are long and narrow. Depending on the application, these cameras can be mounted in a variety of ways. These cameras are great for applications that can have very obvious camera surveillance on site. Furthermore these cameras are usually also best for longer distance surveillance because of their housing. This allows for a larger focal length and different sizes of lenses. Oftentimes these cameras also come with the capability to swap lenses, so should you want to use the camera somewhere else, only the lens would have to be swapped and not the entire camera.
